Customer Review: 100 Hours played in the First Week
Summary: 4 Stars
and in the 2nd I made another character and did it again!
It's that fun!
The technical powers of the Playstation 3 seem to hinder it in places, inserting awkward pauses in conversation with NPCs, and making the game freeze every 4 hours or so.
But, others have said this, but I'll say it too, IF:
You have been laid off of work
and
Your girlfriend has left you
THEN this is the game to play!
I should also mention that this game is a lot like Oblivion, it's biggest difference being that it is easier to play on a console.

I played Oblivion on the PC for a long time but never finished it. Fallout 3 uses some of the same RPG elements but the overall packaging and storytelling in the game shows much more depth. I am absolutely hooked and will play through to the end. This is really the first game I got for the PS3 and so far it justifies the purchase.Customer Review: Possibly the best game ever created??...I think so!

It is so hard to explain fallout 3, the randomness, the excitement, and the all around feel of just being free in a game is easily enough to play this game for days! This game has so much content to explore, its not that hard, so you dont have to be a hardcore gamer to understand, and really its your game. Sure, there are quests you can do and missions, but if you ever get bored of doing them, you can take a break and take a nice walk through the wastes, of course with your trusty companion dogmeat at your side.
Pros: This list could go on and on. Amazing graphics, randomness in the wastes, free roam, and your own life. IF you want to be basically a Hitler in the game, killing EVERYTHING IN YOUR PATH, by all means go at it. But if you want to be the hero, you can do that too. You can even be in the middle, so if one day your feelin a little evil..how about you nuke a town. Although, the other day you might be freeing slaves. And last bot not least, VATS. VATS is basically freezing time and pickin any body part to aim at your opponent, with brutal results. Not only do, heads come off, but eyeballs, fngers, brains, its all included.
Cons:OF course, with every game, there are cons. In gameplay, i really cant find any cons. OF course, this game isnt the most action packed where you can just take out a gun and randomly shooting EVERYWHERE! You have to conserve everything you have, and it really makes you feel as though you are in a post apoctolyptic world and start thinkin like that. This game is very buggy, it crashed maybe twice for me, but that is no reason to not buy this game, because the game play is amazing. This game is very brutal too, so bring a strong stomach when you play. I would say anyone 13 or up can play this game, as long as parents dont mind a lot of blood and gore.
This game is the best game i own right now, and i cant put it down. It deserves 10 out of 5 stars, and the title for game of the year.

This is a 5 star game all the way, so you can't rely the lower star ratings(mainly 1 star) because most of them, if you happened to waste your time reading them, are written by people who obviously don't like rpgs,or only played a couple hours into it and shouldn't be making a review on this game anyway. If you think the game is too long than your missing the point of an rpg! I could understand if you played it mostly, if not all the way through at least once and just didn't like it, but of coarse if that were the case you would probably be making a 4 or 5 star review on it because it's just that good of a game. I've beat the main story twice and still would play it again because you can play it once all the way through and have a completely different experience the second time around . Depending on what you do or say in the game can change what happens to your character and will lead you down one of the many different paths that can be taken. Fallout3 is a game with a high replay value that you will want to keep playing for a long time, rather than some games that you beat once and are done with, then end up selling or trading it.
Fallout3 is one of my personal favorites, its no wonder its received many recognitions as a 5 star game, after all they don't make game of the year editions for bad games!
