I could care less about Portal but it is obviously a fine game. The Half-Life series on this release is absolutely mind blowing. I could not believe how engrossing a game this was and the seer epic scale of those games when combined is massive. I cannot see anyone that is a FPS fan not loving this completely. You will be impressed as much as any FPS out there. No doubt!

This incredibly cheap collection of awesome classical games is the bargain of the century. The Half-Life shooter series and the Team Fortress online combat game are great titles in their own right, but Portal is such an unusual and creative puzzle game it will blow your mind away - it is both comical and dark, challenging and enticing. If you like games, you must get this.

I played the first Halflife back in 1999, and I remember being absolutely blown away by what I saw. It still is one of the best games I have ever played, so I had high hopes with Halflife 2. I know that Halflife 2 has been out for five years now, but I can say that it is one of the best and most entertaining video gaming experiences I've ever had! The controls were as tight as possible, the graphics looked great, and the voice acting was as good as it gets in a video game. What I respect most about this game is its ability to be many things at once, and still be able to pull it off. It's a great first person shooter, an engaging adventure game, a creative sci-fi adventure, and an extremely creepy survival horror game all wrapped up in one nice little package. Some other games try to be all of these things at once and never get it right. Halflife 2 allows all of these different aspects to mingle with the utmost fluidity and invention. I've been a gamer for nearly 30 years, and I simply cannot recommend this game highly enough! I also have to say that Portal totally caught me by surprise with its stunning originality. It's a very brief game, but with all of the other content on here it's a really nice bonus.
And the best part? This is only 20 bucks! And you get two expansion packs AND Portal! I don't really care about the Team Fortress game as I never really play online. But 20 dollars for four incredibly innovative games is a STEAL. If you own a PS3 or 360 you'd be foolish to not have this in your library. I can't imagine a gamer with any life in them disliking Orange Box. Just get it!
