I am using this switch in a very complicated setup:

Toshiba HD-XA2 HD-DVD player
Tivo HD
Xbox 360
My receiver is an Onkyo TX-SR605 with 2 HDMI inputs. I was hoping to use this to add a 3rd HDMI input. After HDMI leaves the receiver it is split again with a splitter to a projector and an LCD. This has caused problems before with HDMI handshakes with cheap devices...not so here.
I did have trouble when trying to use it with 2 devices powered on and letting it do the automatic selection...not a big surprise. So it's best used IMO with devices that aren't always on, or with devices that you don't need on at the same time. Still, now I can use the HD-DVD player or the PS3 on the same input on the receiver and freed up another input.
Very good product and the auto-switching is great for adding an HDMI input but not adding complexity.
