Customer Review: Bloodshot eyes...for a few...
Summary: 4 Stars
What bothered me the most about this game is how the lead hero looks differently than he did before. This game, while still maintaining a dark eerie mood, doesn't screw with my head as much as the original. I remember in the first one that just the presence of the woman I'd been staying in contact with (Who by no means is a beauty of any way, shape, or form) meant the world to me. They still keep the game freakishly scary, and there is a surprise animal in this game that almost gave me a heart attack while playing.
Seriously, this game is good. Very good. While a pinch off of perfect, this game deserves about an 8, maybe an 8.25. I gave the original a 9, chopping a point for length. The second game has more of a CSI styled thing going for it, which gives it more depth, but at the same time it goes in more of a supernatural direction, and that's where they lose me.
Still a great game to pick up for 10 or 20 bucks. 60? Nah, save your money for Dante's Inferno or God of War 3.
