Video Game Reviews of Virtua Fighter 5

Customer Review: good graphics, not so fun
Summary: 3 Stars

this game have very good graphics, but isnt it so funny. there is no so many movement and things to do. nothing more than good graphics

Customer Review: Virtua 1-2-3-4-5 all the same
Summary: 3 Stars

Just for the graphics I can say this game is not the same as the rest, but in gameplay is the same thing, I got bored really soon, better bought Smash Brawl for wii instead of this one, eventhough this was a great bargain when I bought it at $10

Customer Review: Excelente Juego
Summary: 5 Stars

Customer Review: Depends on What You Are Looking For
Summary: 5 Stars

The graphics on this game are totally mind blowing! To be honest I have not even tried the one player mode. This game is great, and I mean great for two things. If you have some buddy come over and start trash talking your PS3, maybe saying how super his Xbox 360 is and your (very expensive) PS3 is garbage, well, you just whip out the ol' Virtual Fighter 5 and not only show this dweeb the mind blowing graphics, but you then can proceed to kick his silly butt all over the screen in the game with the sexy little blue hair girly in a cage match. Totally fun multiplayer with many, many, and I mean many, button, stick, trigger combos. Got friends? Get this game! Got no friends? Maybe pick up that lame Lost: Via Domus game.

Customer Review: Disappointed, but it is a launch title
Summary: 2 Stars

After playing VF4 on my PS2, I had to make this one of the first games I got for my PS3. Unfortunately, they only upgraded the graphics, not the gameplay.

It is basically more of the same old thing, if not less. Most of the moves are the same as the last one, with little new ones. There are some new characters but they are basically combinations of others.

There is no incentive to "solve" the game. You can play through the arcade version and if you're good enough, maybe you can beat that silver chick but that's about it. The "quest" mode is basically just a rehash of the older game. Move up in rank, fight tougher foes, get a new item of clothing or sunglasses and that's about it.

If you are just playing the games's AI, it will get boring quick. It might be fun to invite your friends over and beat the living snot out of them, but even that will get old after awhile.

I really expected a lot more than what this game offered but as I mentioned, it was made so that it could be one of the first games available for the new gen of consoles. If they make a VF6, hopefully they'll add more to the game than just graphics.
