Video Game Reviews of Infamous

Customer Review: Great game. Great story.
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great game with a great story! Some minor control issues get annoying at times but not enough to take away from the fun in electrocuting everything. I am a gamer who thrives on a good story and I found this to be one of the best stories in both substance and execution.

Customer Review: Great game!!
Summary: 4 Stars

I really like the story line in this game! Once you attain certain powers the game becomes more interesting!! Overall loved this game...

Customer Review: its good but not great
Summary: 3 Stars

This game plays like Assassins Creed, Force Unleashed and GTA. You can climb anything and go anywhere. You're powers are awesome and dependant on whether or not you're good or bad. And you can shoot anything or anyone. Its a lot of fun. The downside is the frustrating enemies. They seemly have 20/20 vision from the BACK of their heads and are all snipers with their machine guns. The gameplay is good but the fact that the main character grabs and tries to climb everything gets annoying.

Could have been better but not bad.

Customer Review: Awesome game! little repetitive
Summary: 4 Stars

This game is awesome. It is a little bit repetitive but it still pays off and doesn't get boring. Definite must get!

Customer Review: Awesome...oh wait...
Summary: 3 Stars

I was pretty pumped about trying this game. It starts out pretty cool. The graphics on my TV looked pretty sweet. Nice and crisp high def visuals. The problem is that everything looks exactly the same. all the buildings and even the other islands you visit all just becaome a big cut and paste job. Especially the sewer missions...I know, I know, how different can a sewer look from one area to another? I get that, but that doesnt mean I want to play through 10 of them when they are the same thing. Everything really starts looking rather blah after about 5 hours into it. I DO realize this is a city hit by a bomb and its not supposed to be bright and gorgeous, but seriously...you can even make a blown up city look more diverse and beautiful than this. All the bad guys get tedious and boring to fight as well. Not only do the graphics get mundane and repetative, so does the gameplay. I give this 3 stars primarily because the game seriously is just a lot of the same stuff over and over again. Its all really fun and exciting at the begining, but after a while you are waiting for something else and it just doesnt quite get there in my opinion. This game is by no means terrible. It was worth a rent for me, although I lost the interest to play it to the end. I played Assasins Creed 2 all the way to the end and I had some of the same types of criticisms there as far as it got a little repetative, BUT there were enough really good side quests and awesome storyline to bump that game rating up for me. This game (as many have said before me) just feels like more of the same old stuff in an electric wrapper. Id say rent it and have yourself a good Saturday afternoon with it. Its really pretty cool for while. Cheers!
