It's a ps3 - what is there to say?
they've been out quite awhile
My son plays online all the time, that's a nice feature.
the wireless controllers are probaly the best feature and they hold their charge a long time and recharge quickly. they won't charge without the console on, and it tends to overheat if you leave it on too long.
the games are expensive, but you know that going in.
the graphics are not over the top compared to ps2 like you'd expect for all the hype and the enormous price - and they don't seem to be cranking out that many impressive games.
the dvd player feature is nice, and it plays dvd or bluray, but even though I have a 16:9 high def big screen, the top and bottom are always cut off.
Can't say I have been that impressed with BluRay - seems overhyped.
Was supposed to get several free BluRay movies with purchase of the unit, and never got them. Introductory offer and all.
The bluray/dvd feature and the large collection of ps2 games we already had are why I chose it over XBox.
Don't worry about 80 gb, I can't imagine you'd ever need that much unless you use the unit like a PC.
