Video Game Reviews of Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWIICustomer Review: great aerial action... Summary: 4 StarsThe boys got a new PS3 this holiday season and this is the game that gets the most use (at least so far). The selection of airplanes and locations (and mix of action and targets) is great fun. My son, the WWII nut, loves checking out all the different airplanes and quickly you're flying them.
Yes, it isn't very "historically accurate", but the real problem with the game, in my mind, is that I find flying the planes difficult, at least with the PS3 controller. But the boys really love it. The music isn't too cloying and the scenery is glorious. Heck, you could spend all day just doing the "training mission". I say: check it out. If you like air combat games, this one should be on your shelf.
Customer Review: fun...for a while Summary: 3 Starsonce you get used the controls, its a petty fun game.
It does get old though, and sometimes all the spinning made me dizzy.
Customer Review: Arcade style gameplay, decent graphics Summary: 3 StarsThis is better than the first title with pretty good graphics and scenery but very unrealistic flying qualities. It's not like a flight simulator at all. Aircraft instrumentation is primitive. It reminds me of the Star Wars vehicles more than an airplane. It works better for me with a joystick instead of the PS3 controller. Very poor documentation adds to the frustration.
Customer Review: sweet Summary: 4 Starsthe gameplay is awesome, and the graphics make u feel like ur right in it.
Customer Review: Not a gamer Summary: 4 StarsBlazing Angels 2 is a fun game.
It's one of the rare games that is fun and has a storyline. If you kill a character, it's for a good reason. I like that in a game.
