Customer Review: Not worth $20. BORING.
Summary: 2 Stars
If you are a final fantasy gamer or enjoy games such as Valkeria Chronicles, you may be disappointed by this game. No, I did not play it all the way through. I was dying or boredom during my first four hours of play. First, the game is unbelievably slow to get started. When the game opens, you are forced through a boring training sequence that takes place inside the classroom. Would this be a great time to present some storyline? Yes.... but the game does not do so. In fact, after an hour wandering around and listening to the horrible voice acting, the game still had not really picked up at all. Second, the voice acting and conversation system is terrible. Sometimes, there are voice overs... and they are REALLY bad. One of the characters' voice is so irritating that I had to mute my TV after a while. In fact, whether intentional or not, there were what I perceived to be some pretty disgusting sexual innuendo going on between the male characters. This made it difficult to play with my family around and was very distracting to the game. Also, you have no way of knowing who you are talking to until you talk to them and conversations are repeatable.... meaning that if you see the blond lady in the hall with a dress and you listen to her 4 minute conversation and then you come back and don't quite know if its her and make the mistake of speaking to her, you are forced through the SAME conversation again!!! Finally, the graphics while amazing, do not make up for the overall lack of fun in the battle scenes. BOOORRRRIIINGGG. I love story, plot, and active battles. This was Boring! Save your money. If I want this brand of parody, I will watch Family Guy.
